304 stainless steel rectangular tube Process

TP304 manufacturing process:
First, specific amounts of chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni) are mixed into the raw material to make it resistant to corrosion and oxidation. In addition, a certain amount of carbon (C) and manganese (Mn) need to be added to enhance its mechanical properties. These components will be mixed together to form an iron alloy called "capillary."

Manufacturing process of TP304L:
Compared to TP304, the manufacturing process of TP304L requires less carbon (C). This is because the addition of carbon (C) makes the material more fragile, making it unsuitable for applications in high temperature and highly corrosive environments.
Therefore, in the process of manufacturing TP304L, the content of carbon (C) needs to be reduced, so that it is divided into chromium (Cr) 18-20%, nickel (Ni) 8-12%, and less than 0.03% carbon (C).
Its manufacturing process is similar to TP304, but more attention is paid to the control of carbon content to ensure that the material can be widely used in more stringent environments.
