High Carbon Steel Round Bar
The chemical composition of high carbon steel round bars is mainly composed of iron, carbon and small amounts of other elements. Among them, the carbon content is between 0.60% and 1.00%, usually represented by "Wc". Compared with ordinary steel, high carbon steel has a higher carbon content and higher hardness. However, high carbon steel is relatively brittle and prone to cracks and fractures, so it requires greater control during the manufacturing process.
