Steel S45c

Steel S45C is a type of medium carbon steel with a high tensile strength. It is commonly used in various applications such as machinery parts, automotive parts, and construction equipment. • Chemical composition: Carbon content between 0.42% and 0.48%, manganese content between 0.6% and 0.9%, sulfur content and phosphorus content below 0.03%.
• Sheet size: The common sheet size is between 2mm-250mm in thickness, 600mm-3000mm in width, and 2000mm-12000mm in length. According to customer needs can also provide different sizes of plates.
• Heat treatment: Heat treatment can be carried out, and the commonly used methods include normalizing, quenching and tempering. After proper heat treatment, the hardness and wear resistance of the steel can be improved, which is suitable for the manufacture of high-strength parts.
• Surface treatment: can be galvanized, painting and other surface treatment to improve its corrosion resistance and beauty.
• Application fields: Widely used in machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, aerospace and other fields. It has good machinability and toughness, and can manufacture various mechanical parts and tools.
