ASTM A514 standard products have eight different grades:  A514GrQ, A514Gr.S. Different grades of A514 steel plate thickness, chemical composition and properties are different.

A514GrQ steel plate status:

80 ~ 102mm steel plate: tempering (quenching + tempering).

>102 ~ 152mm steel plate: controlled rolling + tempering.

Size, shape, weight and allowable deviation:

Steel plate size, shape, flatness, weight and allowable deviation shall comply with ASTM A6/A6M.

Ultrasonic inspection steel plate can be ultrasonic inspection, inspection standard according to A578, A grade qualified.
