ASTM A312 Stainless Steel 304 Pipe Tube

304/304H has general corrosion resistance similar to 304/304L. It can resist atmospheric corrosion as well as moderate oxidizing and reducing environments. However, 304/304H is prone to precipitation of carbides in the heat affected zone of the weld due to its high carbon content.
304/304H is non-magnetic under annealing conditions, but may produce slight magnetism during cold processing or welding. It can be easily welded and processed in standard workshop manufacturing practices.
