It uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to create an arc and a shielding gas to protect the weld zone from atmospheric contamination. TIG welding provides precise control over the heat input and produces high-quality welds with excellent aesthetics.

2. Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW): SMAW, also known as stick welding, is another method used for stainless pipe welding. It involves using a consumable electrode coated in flux to create an arc and deposit molten metal into the joint. SMAW is versatile and can be used in various positions, but it may produce more spatter and require more cleanup compared to TIG welding.

3. Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW): FCAW is a semi-automatic welding process that uses a continuously fed tubular electrode filled with flux. It can be used for stainless pipe welding, especially in high-speed applications. FCAW offers higher deposition rates than TIG or SMAW but may require more post-weld cleaning.
