Plasma cutting is divided into underwater plasma and air plasma cutting two kinds. When using underwater plasma cutting, plasma gas can produce several thousand degrees of high temperature, high manganese steel cut quickly melted, and because of water barrier to avoid oxidation, water and timely cooling of the steel plate, prevent carbide precipitation, so that the cutting surface of the steel plate smooth and flat, no heat affected zone, the best cutting quality, is the first choice for cutting high manganese steel. Air plasma cutting is also available.
2, Mn13 high manganese wear-resistant steel plate can also be cut by traditional flame.
When flame cutting is used, it is recommended to use a cutting car, according to the different thickness of the steel plate, the use of different specifications of the head, the ratio of gas and oxygen is adjusted appropriately (preferably neutral flame), it is best to start blanking after all adjustment, to prevent the section gap caused by the ignition arc in the middle of the cutting quality.
3, Mn13 high manganese wear-resistant steel plate welding:
The welding method of high manganese wear-resistant steel plate can be selected by manual arc welding.
Electrode selection D256(pile 256) or D266(pile 266) electrode; Before welding, the weld should be polished, the workpiece groove and edge should be thoroughly cleaned, the rust and oil should be removed, and the welding rod should be dried; When welding, small diameter electrode (generally 3mm-3.5mm) should be selected, small current, high voltage, multi-layer welding, multi-pass welding, fast welding; If DC welding is used, the electrode is connected to the positive electrode; Hammer the weld after welding each layer to improve its resistance to thermal cracking. Running water can also be used for quick cooling.
