Hot Rolled NM450 Wear Resistant Steel Sheet

NM450 high strength wear-resistant steel plate. NM450 is a kind of wear-resistant steel plate. N is the first pinyin letter for "resistant" in "wear resistant". M is the first pinyin letter for "wear" in "wear". 450 is the Brinell Hardness number HB value. (450 hardness value is a broad sense, the domestic NM450 hardness value is around 450.) The NM450 mainly provides protection in the occasions or parts that need to be wear-resistant, so that the equipment can last longer, reduce the maintenance and downtime caused by maintenance, and correspondingly reduce the investment of funds.

• heat treatment: high temperature tempering, tempering (quenching + tempering)
• performance: yield in more than 950, tensile strength in 1180
• NM450 steel plate delivery status: steel plate to quench, quench + tempering (tempering), TMCP+ tempering, tempering or hot rolling state delivery

The methods of heat treatment are annealing, normalizing and tempering or, if agreed by the Purchaser, accelerated cooling from the austenitizing temperature by air blast or liquid quenching followed by tempering. The lower limit of tempering temperature is 675℃.

Where heat treatment as required in Article a is not specified, delivery shall be in stress-relieved or annealed condition
