Wear Resistant Steel Plate Nm550
NM550 is a wear-resistant plate, NM means wear-resistant, 550 is a hardness value. Usually seen NM550A/B, the value A means no impact, and the value B means impact at room temperature of 20°. Like other container plate types there are shocks D for minus 20 degrees and "E" for minus 40 degrees. F indicates the impact value of -60°. The NM550 has a Brinell hardness of 550 (HBW).
