Can 13Mn be welded with ordinary steel?

1, 13Mn can be welded with ordinary steel, it is recommended to use low carbon steel electrode.

2, carbon steel welding rod (its deposited metal tensile strength is less than or equal to 500MPa, that is, 50kgf/mm2) for carbon steel and low strength low alloy steel welding. For low hydrogen type and iron powder type welding rod, the welding rod must be baked above 350 ° C before welding, and it must be used as much as possible, and the principle of how much to bake will be used, otherwise it will produce welding defects (such as pores, slag inclusion, cracks, process performance deterioration, etc.). The cellulose electrode should be baked strictly according to the baking temperature specified in the instruction manual. If the temperature is too high, the cellulose in the coating will be burned and the inherent process performance of the electrode will be destroyed. When using low hydrogen electrode, the welder should be in an upwind position and strengthen the exhaust air to prevent the harm of welding smoke to the body. The baking times of low hydrogen electrode should not exceed two times as much as possible to prevent the coating from becoming brittle and falling off.
