S20C Stainless Steel

S20C is a low carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.18% to 0.23%. It is also known as JIS S20C or ASTM A36. This steel is used in various applications such as machinery parts, automotive parts, and general construction. It has good machinability, weldability, and ductility. In terms of corrosion resistance, S20C is not as good as some other stainless steels due to its low chromium content. However, it can be surface treated to improve its corrosion resistance. S20C stainless steel is commonly used in Japan, Taiwan, and China.
