Grade 304 Stainless Steel

304 is a versatile stainless steel, which is widely used in the production of equipment and parts requiring good comprehensive properties (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the inherent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel content. 304 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel produced according to ASTM standards in the United States.

304 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and good resistance to intergranular corrosion. 304 stainless steel material concentration ≤65% boiling temperature below the nitric acid, has a strong corrosion resistance. It also has good corrosion resistance to alkaline solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.
