304 and 316 stainless steel

304 stainless steel is a type of austenitic stainless steel that contains chromium and nickel. It is commonly used in a variety of industries including food processing, chemical processing, and architecture. It has good corrosion resistance and is easy to fabricate. 304 stainless steel is also known as A2 stainless steel (according to ISO 3506) or 18/8 stainless steel (according to US and UK standards).
