ASTM 304 stainless steel is a type of stainless steel that is commonly used in various industries such as food processing, chemical, and medical. It is an austenitic stainless steel that contains between 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel.

ASTM 304 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and is resistant to oxidation and staining. It has low carbon content which makes it suitable for welding. It also has good strength and ductility properties.
