SS 304 is a type of stainless steel alloy that contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, making it resistant to corrosion and rust. It is commonly used in various industries including food processing, chemical processing, and pharmaceuticals. This material is highly durable and has good strength, making it popular in applications that require high temperature resistance and exceptional durability. Its properties also make it suitable for use in various forms, such as tubing, piping, and sheet metal.

Chemical composition: C≤0.08, Si≤1.00, Mn≤2.00, P≤0.045, S≤0.030, Ni≤10.5, Cr≤20.0, Mo≤2.0.
Physical properties: The density is 8.0g/cm³, the melting point is 1400-1450℃, the coefficient of thermal expansion is 17.2×10-6/℃, and the thermal conductivity is 16.3W/(m·℃).
Mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥520MPa, yield strength ≥205MPa, elongation ≥40%.
Surface treatment: Common surface treatment methods include 2B, NO.1 and BA.
Application: SS 304 stainless steel is widely used in chemical industry, paper making, food processing, medical equipment, building decoration and other fields.
