Cold Rolled 316 Stainless Steel Sheets:

Hot Rolled 316 Stainless Steel Sheets:

The hot-rolling process produces sheets that have a coarse and uneven surface, but are more ductile and malleable than cold-rolled sheets. Hot-rolled 316 stainless steel sheets exhibit good weldability, but the surface finish may require further processing such as pickling or polishing. They are typically used in applications that do not require precise dimensions, but require excellent forming and welding capabilities, such as structural and architectural components, pipes, and pressure vessels.
