NM Plate
NM plate is a wear-resistant steel plate, which is widely used in industries such as mining, construction, material handling and heavy machinery manufacturing.
"NM" comes from the first letter of the Chinese word for "NaiMo". The numbers behind it, such as NM450 and NM400, usually represent the Brinell hardness (HB) of the steel plate. The larger the number, the higher the hardness of the steel plate and the stronger the wear resistance. For example, NM450 means that the hardness of the steel plate is about 450 HB, while the hardness of NM400 is about 400 HB. The higher the hardness, the stronger the wear resistance of the steel plate. Common wear-resistant steel plates include NM360, NM400, NM450, NM500, NM550, NM600, etc.
