Product Introduction

NM400 and WNM400 are both high-strength abrasion-resistant steel materials. NM400 is a Chinese standard and WNM400 is a Swedish standard. Both of them are used for manufacturing wear-resistant steel plates, which are widely used in mining, construction, agriculture and other industries.

Hardox is a brand name for a range of abrasion-resistant steel materials manufactured by Swedish steelmaker SSAB. Hardox steel is available in grades ranging from 400 to 600, with Hardox 400 being the most commonly used. It has high toughness, good bendability and weldability, making it a popular choice for applications in quarries, mines, cement plants and recycling facilities.

While NM400 and WNM400 are similar to Hardox 400 in terms of their mechanical properties, Hardox 400 is known for its superior wear resistance and longer service life under harsh operating conditions.
