The manufacturing process for the NM500 involves a series of complex steps. First, iron and other alloying elements need to be melted and mixed together. The mixture is then poured into large steel ingots, which are kept at high temperatures for a period of time so that the alloying elements are sufficiently evenly distributed. Next, the ingot is cut into slabs and subjected to heat treatment at high temperatures. This process adjusts the microstructure of the steel plate so that it achieves the desired strength and hardness. Finally, the steel plate is ground and cut to meet specific size and shape requirements.
