This steel is resistant to intergranular corrosion. It is mainly used in the automotive, construction, petroleum, fuel and aviation industries, mechanical engineering, as decorative elements, kitchen equipment in the food industry, as well as the production of electronic equipment and the medical and pharmaceutical industries. 1.4404 stainless steel has excellent mechanical properties. The composite strength is 210 MPa and the minimum compressive stress is 210 MPa. The material has a tensile strength of 520-720 mpa and a minimum elongation of 45% . These attributes make it a reliable choice for a variety of applications.
