Type 316L Schedule 40S
TP316L is the American standard of steel, indicating the steel material of stainless steel pipe. Interpretation of the US standard model: TP English word TYPE English abbreviation. L is an abbreviation of the English word LOW. Because the carbon content of TP316L and 316 is not the same, TP316L means low-carbon stainless steel. The lowest carbon content of 316L is 0.035% and that of 316 is 0.08%.
