2205 stainless steel plate is divided into cold rolled plate and hot rolled plate. Regular size thickness: 0.5 mm to 40.0 mm, width: 1000 mm, 1219 mm, 1500180 mm, 2000 mm, etc. Length: If the length of the coil can be cut according to the needs of the user, the general cold rolling is 2000mm or 2438mm, and the hot rolling is 6000mm.

cold rolled plate and hot rolled plate difference

1. Surface color difference

cold rolled plate surface is bright or silver white, the surface is smooth;

hot rolled plate surface color is relatively deep, mostly brown, and the surface is relatively rough, not as smooth as the cold plate.

The difference between specifications and sizes

cold rolled plate size generally 1000*2000mm, 1219*2438mm, 1500*3000mm commonly used plate, thickness 0.5-6mm;

hot rolled plate size is generally 1500*6000mm, 1800*6000mm, 2000*6000mm, 2000*8000 conventional size, thickness 3-40mm.

Physical Properties:

duplex steel density: 7.98g/cm3, melting point: 1300-1390 ℃

Heat treatment:

Heat between 1000-1050℃ for 1-2 hours, rapid air cooling or water cooling.

Mechanical properties:

Tensile strength: σb≥795Mpa, yield strength σb≥550Mpa: Elongation: δ≥15%, hardness ≤310 (HB)
