Duplex Steel 2205 Plate Sheet

2205 stainless steel plate is divided into 2205 cold rolled plate and 2205 hot rolled plate according to the different production process, 2205 stainless steel plate main composition of 21% chromium (Cr),2.5% molybdenum (Mo) and 4.5% nickel (Ni). 2205 stainless steel plate is a typical nitrogen (N), ultra-low carbon, biphase ferritic-austenitic stainless steel, with excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical functions, is widely used in oil and gas, petrochemical and offshore engineering and other fields. However, in the hot rolling process, 2205 stainless steel plate has been in the two-phase zone, resulting in poor hot processing function, simple edge cracking defects, seriously limiting the production of this stainless steel.

The size of 2205 stainless steel hot plate is generally 1500*6000mm, 1800*6000mm, 2000*6000mm, 2000*8000 conventional size, thickness 3-40mm.

2205 stainless steel plate features resistance to air, steam, water and other weak corrosive media.

1. Surface color difference

2205 stainless steel cold rolled plate surface is bright or silver white, the surface is smooth;

2205 stainless steel hot rolled plate surface color is relatively deep, mostly brown, and the surface is relatively rough, not as smooth as the cold plate.
