Product Introduction

304H stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel with a higher carbon content than 304 stainless steel. The increased carbon content provides improved high temperature strength and resistance to sensitization. It is commonly used in high temperature applications such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Its properties can be further improved through solution annealing and rapid cooling (quenching) in water or oil. 304H stainless steel is not suitable for welding as it may suffer from sensitization and subsequent intergranular corrosion. It is typically supplied in the annealed condition and can be easily formed and welded.

Chemical composition: C 0.04% or less, Si 1.0% or less, Mn 2.0% or less, P 0.045% or less, S 0.03% or less, Ni: 8.00 10.50%, Cr: 18.00 20.00%, N 0.10% or less
Strength: The tensile strength of 304H is 520MPa, the yield strength is 205MPa and the elongation is 40%
Welding performance: 304H can be processed by conventional welding methods, including argon arc welding, arc welding and TIG welding. In high temperature environment, its welding performance is also very excellent.
Mechanical properties: The hardness of 304H is Brinell 201, Rockwell B 92, Vickers 210, and its strength and ductility are excellent.
Corrosion resistance: 304H stainless steel can resist general chemical corrosion and seawater corrosion, and can resist atmospheric corrosion.
