AISI 1045 and S45C are the same material. They are medium carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.45%. G10450 is the SAE designation for this material. It is a popular material for manufacturing shafts, gears, studs, bolts, and other machine parts due to its good strength, toughness, and wear resistance. It can be easily machined and welded. 1. Material composition: Carbon content between 0.43~0.50, manganese content between 0.60~0.90, sulfur and phosphorus content are less than 0.035, impurity content should be less than 0.10.

2. Heat treatment: The material can obtain different mechanical properties through proper heat treatment, such as normalizing, annealing, quenching, etc.
